AXIONLOG MALVINAS EXPANDS ITS DISTRIBUTION CENTER

The company invested 50 million Argentine Pesos to expand its CD in Malvinas, with 3,300 m2 covered space and 2,000 m2 of maneuvering area. It also has a large area for dry goods and a bonded warehouse, a new batteries’ room and a reservoir with natural lighting.

One of the issues that was observed to give pace to this decision was the importance of having a larger surface to use as a bonded warehouse for import and export of products. Another of the triggers was that McDonald’s required an exclusive and concrete space for the storage and labeling of toys. Also, it was detected the need to expand the capacity due to the fact that the CD was saturated and unable to provide adequate response to the operations of all our customers. The enlargement process was carried out with an estimated investment of 50 million Argentine Pesos (approximately 6 million dollars), an amount that was allocated to 3,300 m2 covered space and 2,000 m2 of  maneuvering area. It also has a large area for ​​dry goods and bonded warehouse, a new batteries room and a reservoir with natural lighting.
